This House was built and design for a client that wanted to sale the property so we needed to develop a project for a non real family. The challenge for us was to address the most common issues and situations that affect an average Mexican cross border family with a non common house. Now a days is very important to create spaces for the families to interact and live their every day lives together as a family, because of the computer domain in the kids’ lives their interaction is more sedentary. And other relevant issue is to isolate them to the exterior hostilities of Reynosa, so we decide to create a single space house where everything happens and the only private areas are the bedrooms, which are more like dormitories in order to get together most of the time in the common spaces in order to create an atmosphere of safety and casual living.
