The material of this particular procedure is  raw wool, which in the hands of the artist becomes flexible instrument.

Distributed, cropped, stretched, mixed together or reduced to thin and transparent veils, small or large quantities of wool take on the shapes and the shades desired. Overlapped by hand, as brush strokes of color, in different levels and textures, these textile elements are then joint with a special machine, which gives the opportunity to combine work previously created by hand through a network of transparent threads.

This type of technique was developed in the 60s in the ex Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic, where it became very popular in the field of art and interior design. Svetlana has prepared collectively a large tapestry – 50 m2 – for the EXPO in Osaka in 1990. Until the 90s many artists continued to work with this technique but after the drastic change in the country's economic, almost all abandoned it. One of the few who remained faithful is Svetlana, who developed in recent years at its base other types of new work, experimenting with different types of materials, especially of recovery. For example, the new eco-friendly tapestries Arakne and some fabrics for fashion and home furnishing Arakne Non Woven.
