There is much creativity and passion flowing into the exterior design of the Villa we are about to view today.

In the Mexican metropolis of Zapopan is a project from the architectural studio AAESTUDIO. Taking centre stage is the unusual composition of natural elements and modern materials, which amounts to an exceptional structure.

The architects have employed many different types of rock in order to construct a space that adheres not only to modernity, but also to warmth and comfort. And now we would like to take you on the journey to discover this fantastic home. Let's go!

The dining area

The family dining room is located in the back. It was positioned in such a way so that it can have a direct view of the garden.

The floor is covered with cream coloured marble slabs, which–when combined with many elements of dark wood–contributes to a warm and cosy atmosphere.

The façade

Even a quick glance shows the peculiarity of this building, because the façade combines different materials and graphic shapes into an impressive home front. Embedded in the walls are differently sized stone elements that almost seem to float.

With the different horizontal and vertical elements, this house becomes dynamic and modern, and it is embellished with exotic flowers and a garden that underlines the natural aspect of the property, making it accessible and inviting.

An overview of the interior

After we enter the interior of the house, extensive open space presents itself to us. An indoor garden is at the centre and serves as a basis for the fantastic staircase that interrupts living and dining area.

A lot of natural light drops in from above, which –depending on the time of day –produces very different atmospheres and contributes much to the feeling of being outdoors.

The kitchen

The kitchen plays an important role in every household. Here, the family gathers to cook together, to eat, and to exchange ideas. Therefore, kitchens need to be functional and welcoming.

The kitchen in this house scores big time with the addition of large windows looking out into the garden, and the rest of the space is elegant and decorated with neutral tones.

The living room

The living room of the house is an incredibly large, bright room where every detail aims to create a friendly atmosphere. Neutral tones and white walls and ceiling bring peace to the area.

An interesting detail here is the wooden-framed windows that occupy almost the entire wall in their width and so enable the space to hold a lot of light. The carpet in the centre brings comfort and warmth into the room, which is ideal for cosy evenings.

The media room

For moments of relaxation and fun, the house has a media room upstairs, which is visually distinct from the rooms on the ground floor. Here we find darker wooden floors and only small windows at the top of the wall that let in just as much light as needed, but otherwise preserve the privacy.

Here, fun and lively colours are incorporated with the lime green recliner. This room also has a lot to offer in terms of faculties–thanks to the surround system, movies and music can be enjoyed in high quality.

The bedroom

We're finishing our tour of this extraordinary project by showing you the bedroom. This room is very modern in design without sacrificing comfort and warmth. As an architectural detail of a special kind, small lamps were integrated into the ceiling, reminiscent of bright twinkling stars.

The high glass doors offer a great view and direct access to the fantastic terrace. The room is decorated in neutral tones, with small details and colourful accents.

We hope you enjoyed the tour of this gorgeous home! To see more, check out the urban loft designed to perfection!
