From start to finish I felt that I was in the hands of experts. The timetable for the work was quickly arrived at and then adhered to. The work involved the removal of a central brick pillar, building out the side walls, the removal of two up and over doors and the installation of a wide, single up and over door. The end result was exactly as anticipated and was achieved with a minimum of fuss and bother.
I contacted ABi Doors following a recommendation from a friend. I needed my garage electric roller doors servicing. From first contact with Grace to Craig the engineer who carried out the service, the service was exceptional. They were informative, knowledgeable and professional. Craig arrived when we expected, he was very experienced and carried out the service efficiently, professionally and the doors are working much better. I definitely recommend this company and will use them again.
From the initial enquiry for a replacement garage door through to the completed installation ABI have been first class. The initial survey was excellently carried out with all options well presented. The installation by Steve was top rate and I could not be happier with the finished product. Just had both Garage and Front door replaced by ABI and they were faultless. Chris came to measure and quote which prices were competitive and he gave me the quality benefits of a Hormann garage door that when fitted is fantastic! The working mechanism and smooth opening is the best I have ever seen. Communication was excellent as our Front door was slightly delayed but caused no problem. Then there are the guys who fitted! Ralph and Liam who did the garage door so polite clean working and very high quality fitters, The Front door came the next week and Greg and Lee again likewise. ABi have been excellent from start to finish. The door is great quality and has made a huge difference, both aesthetically and acoustically. We opted for an insulated sectional door, which has already reduced the summer temperatures in the garage area and come winter will help keep the heat in. They were also able to match the colour of the window surrounds exactly to the colour of our front door, with the door itself matching the house window frames texture and colour.
I highly recommend them.

Fabulous from start to finish. I was nervous about replacing our garage door but ABi came and did a survey and presented me with all my options. There was no hard sell. I received the quotes the day after the survey and I chose an electric garage door in keeping with my neighbours doors. The new door cost less than I was expecting. It was fitted a week after the survey. Just perfect. The old door and it’s frame taken away too. No mess. No rubbish left just a perfect, new, electric garage door. Thanks to ABi. Deborah

Excellent service from start to finish. Visited the showroom (a local family business just down the road from me which has been there 30/40 years) and the person I dealt with was very helpful without being pushy. Surveyor similar. Quotation came in the following day and was told installation would be 3 to 4 weeks. I accepted a few days later and installation was quicker than expected. The whole process took less than a month. Installers/engineers were very professional: they came on time (actually a few minutes early), were very efficient and courteous. Installation looks great and works well. But I feel sure if there is any problem they will quickly remedy it. Does it get any better than this?
ABi doors have been very helpful over the last few months. Firstly providing advice via email when our electric garage door stopped working following a power interruption. Secondly providing a repair when one of the springs went on the same door. Everything was easy,from diagnosing the issue, getting a quote and then getting the work done. Highly recommend.
Bought an electric garage door followed by a front door a few months later. I had a good experience with ABi. Chris C was helpful and great at keeping me informed of waiting times and fitting dates. All fitters were excellent, friendly and efficient. I would definitely use them again. Only 1 minor criticism; the front door sales person did not read emails properly so there was a lot of unnecessary back and forth to get the specs right and a re measure but as I say, it’s a very minor thing. Overall very happy!
Having previously had a bad experience using a competitor (ZAP), This time I chose ABi. The surveyor Chris reassured me at all stages that the installation would be neat and tidy.
The lads who fit the door on the day, kept me informed at all stages, checking I was happy with what they were doing, and at various stages suggested things they could do which would offer improvement to the installation.
Half way through the job, and installation manager called to check everything was going as planned, this really impressed me.
I genuinely cant fault ABi, and would strongly recommend them to anyone.
Garage door hadn't been working for 2 years since we moved into our property. Although a discontinued brand, ABi came out and put new cones/cables/runners and worked their magic within a couple of hours... I now have a garage door that works like it's brand new. Simon - our engineer - instilled us with confidence in his knowledge and ability within the first few moments. He wasn't certain if he could fix our ancient garage door which has not closed properly for several years. Perseverance and ingenuity to make the parts required from his kitbox proved no match for our stubborn door and now we close it with confidence - backed up by Simon saying it should be good for many more years. Had been trying to find replacement key fobs for garage doors for over a year and failed miserably to get ones that were compatible. Found ABi and they checked photos of my control units, found remote fobs that were compatible. I managed to damage the garage door yesterday when I was closing it. I couldn't fully open or close it after that so I found a local company ABi which I had not used before. From the first call I knew this was a very friendly efficient company. The engineer arrived in a few hours and repaired the door at a very reasonable price. After 15 years a re-programming of the door motor was necessary. Expensive if I called out the original company, but free if I used the step by step instructions from this company. I downloaded the necessary points I needed, and now my garage door works fine. I'm truly grateful to this company for storing the instructions for my garage door motor.

I have been living in my property for a year. It came with an old garage with a door that broke recently. I managed to close it temporarily but I needed urgently someone to repair it so I could close it properly. It was a matter of time before it got broken into, (considering the way I left it)! I found this company online, after having read the really good reviews. The person on the phone was really helpful and friendly. They passed me on to the repair team. I sent some photos and they gave me a really reasonable quote. The problem was that they never followed through. I asked them a few times when they will be able to visit. They told me they would check the calendar. They never came back to me in the end. I would have appreciated if they just told me that they don't have time for this rather than keep me hanging on. I just got ignored which is a shame. Thus, if you need them urgently and your repair is fairly cheap they might not be for you.
Excellent service from friendly and helpful sales staff, surveyors and fitters. The installation date was arranged well in advance and the fitters called in advance of arrival to check everything was okay. Installation was carried out efficiently and without fuss, with a good briefing on how the door works. The door itself is excellent quality and the price point was very competitive for such a quality product.

I would recommend this company as we are really pleased with the results. We had the roller door + side door fitted on our garage. There was a delay in the doors arriving, due to covid etc, but I was kept up to date with progress. Had my garage door serviced recently. The technician found a serious fault that could have meant the door falling onto my car. He was very helpful, courteous and professional.
My garage door was stuck fast and the side door had no key, it was impossible to get into the garage at all. Chris arrived within the time allotted and drilled out the side door lock and fitted a new one, he then got through the garage to open the garage door which was stuck. He spent about an hour with us, he was polite and friendly and self-assured. The office staff were also very pleasant to deal with, they have answered all queries and issues via email and phone promptly and the company were a pleasure to work with. The cost was reasonable for the time and task involved.
My garage door mechanism broke and I'd had to release the spring tension to unwrap the wires in order to get the door closed one day, these were in a poor state and had clearly been slipping for some time. After a month or so of struggling to heave the door open I decided to get it fixed before I caused any further damage.
Found ABi on Google after just a generic search for people in my area, had a quick look around the website and gave the number a call. Provided some information over the phone about the problem (mostly terms I'd seen when I googled how to fix it myself and figured it required a pro!). I was quoted a price and booked in for around a weeks time - it wasn't an emergency so didn't mind the wait, plus it speaks volumes for a company if they're in demand and busy.
Got a call a couple of days later to say there was a cancellation appointment and was I available for someone to come that afternoon - which they did. The engineer took a look then dissapeared inside my garage for an hour or so. Banging, drilling and probably some light cursing later he emerged victorious.. "It almost beat me", but it hadn't and despite the complexities which are far beyond my comprehension I now had a working, very springy garage door mechanism.
The price I was quoted over the phone was the price I paid, invoice came in the post and it was easy to phone up and pay by card.

The office staff were helpful and pleasant to deal with and the initial consultation and installation team were very efficient and did an excellent job of leaving us clean and tidy. Very impressed with this company and a refreshing change to have such fabulous customer service.
Simon came from Leeds to repair my old garage doors which were very difficult to close . He diagnosed the problem that they had sunk due to rotten wood. He repaired with metal brackets - bringing the doors up to a level that ensured easy closing. Job done and on appointment time and to an agree cost. Very pleased with Simon and ABi .
We are now looking at their new front doors too and recently visited their Leeds showroom.

I don’t normally do reviews on here but this company deserved a review! From start to finish, the service from ABI Garage Doors was second to no company I have dealt with in any field.
From the initial phone call to the final installation this company has been as professional and courteous as could be. Punctuality and professionalism is key to me and this company were exceptional in these departments. We were kept in the loop from start to finish even in these difficult times.
The service was prompt & efficient leaving nothing to be wanted by us. I would not hesitate to use this company for any of my future needs.... and I would highly recommend this company to any one requiring a garage door.... one very satisfied customer

Excellent service from sales to fitting and we're very happy with the quality of the product and the work. We did have some snags but the fitters and ABI were great in sorting these out and we weren't asked to pay until we were 100% happy with the work. I'd recommend.
It was a long wait because of Covid, but when our new doors finally arrived, we were very pleased with them. Excellent quality, and the fitters were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there were a couple of minor bits that required a revisit which was a little bit disappointing. That aside, highly recommended and intend to reuse in future for our garage doors.
